Below the Radar Podcast with Am Johal and Kate Hennessy

In November 2024, Kate Hennessy sat down with the incredible Am Johal of SFU’s Vancouver Office of Community Engagement (VOCE) to talk about her collaborative work and recent exhibitions, including Becoming Anarchival (with Trudi Lynn Smith) at Gallery 881; Wrapped in the Cloud (with Jaad Kuujus (Meghann O’Brien) and team), and The Water We Call Home (with Rosemary Georgeson, Jessica Hallenbeck, and collaborators). Here is the podcast.

We want to express our deep frustration at the recent closure of VOCE by Simon Fraser University, a deeply regretful and short-sighted cost-cutting decision. Please see the statement released by SFU’s School for Contemporary Arts and add your name to an open letter protesting this closure.
